The Moorish marketplace's first pop-up event was a smash hit!

The sky was clear at Malcolm X Park in Washington D.C., and the landscape was ablaze with activity on Sunday, July 23rd 2023. The parks visitors were in the fortunate position to bear witness to a historical event: The Moorish Marketplace's first local pop-up event, the first of it's kind and scale. Never before has an online business advertising platform hosted it's own event, and that event gone swimmingly, with a Moorish-American twist and flavor.

The day consisted of setting up our display with Moorish-American brothers and sisters working together in order to facilitate growth of their nation. Collaboration is something we strive to perfect within our community, and the fruits of our labor are ever-apperant.

We were pleased to serve Moorish culture in the form of fresh fruit such as apricots, juice, and powerful art work including henna tattoos.

Truly this day was a prosperous one for the Moorish-Americans, and we strive to continue the legacy of our industrious forefathers by following their clearly-cut footprints.
